I love that this comes in a was to dispense airless pump. It's a lightweight clear serum that is nearly odorless. It has a nice slip and absorbs well. It does leave the skin a bit tacky. It's recommended to use twice a day so the bottle doesn't go very far and it could become an expensive addition to the skin routine. I appreciate that the percent values of the active ingredients are disclosed and that it's made in USA and EWG cert
These days, Skincare isn't just for women. I know a lot of guys that are taking on the Perfect Skin Challenge. Good luck getting any of them to admit it.
Ok, here's what I liked.
- It's simple. One pump, rub it in, done.
- Feels good. My skin looks hydrated and smoother after just a few days.
- Not greasy, sticky, or shiny. I can put it on and walk out the door without looking like I just ran a marathon.
- The benefits of so many individual products, all in one.
The biggest downside is - Yeah, this stuff is expensive.
It's like, "you better use every last drop" expensive.
Niacinamide....Hmmm. I've used a few other products. I seem to be having a very positive experience with this product. I'm using the 10%. Around my jaw, under my lips...I have a sensitive area...from shaving, maybe an ingrown hair. I noticed the area looks so much better. Overall, I do think my face looks tighter. NOW, you have to shake this before use....some other products do not require that. Makes me wonder, less additives in this brand so you have to agitate. Whatever, I do recommend.
My dad had been using the Man Labs Titan High Potency Anti-Aging Peptide Face Serum, and has been quite impressed with the results. The serum is formulated with a blend of peptides, 5% niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, and ceramides, all aimed at addressing common signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.
After incorporating it into his nightly routine, he noticed that the serum absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue, which is great for my combination skin. Within a week, his skin felt more hydrated and appeared smoother, with a noticeable reduction in the appearance of fine lines around his eyes and forehead.
He appreciates that it's unscented, making it suitable for his sensitive skin. Overall, this serum has become a staple in his skincare regimen, and I would recommend it to other men looking to combat signs of aging with a straightforward, effective product. The packaging is sleek and the bottle is a good size, it's a great value for the money.
First impressions: the serum is milky white, and spreads nicely, dries quickly, has a mild scent to it which I can't quite put my finger on. It reminds me a lot of Lucky Tiger Moisturizer which has a bunch of botanicals in it, but the overall scent is mild, kind of an almond extract scent. The only thing in the ingredients that might have a scent is the tocopherol (vitamin E) but there really shouldn't be any scent to this based on the ingredients. As someone who is super sensitive to fragrances, the scent of this bugs me a little, but it is bearable.
For the ingredients, and the effect, I think the hyaluronic acid is more than pulling its weight for the claimed 10 day results. It hydrates the skin making it look fuller and de facto hides fine lines as a result. The peptides take longer to work, and require consistent usage. In fact looking at all the peptides you can expect some effect in 2 weeks, but it will take 12 weeks for all of them to take effect. Even though this doesn't have a retinol, I would recommend using one as soon as you are in your 20's for best results later in life (Rx is better, like tretinoin), it would go on a few minutes after you apply this serum.
